Chelsea forward Salomon Kalou has been targeted as a potential summer signing by both Arsenal and Liverpool, according to the Daily
Kalou, 26, has struggled to establish himself in Andre Villas-Boas’ new Chelsea side, featuring just twice this season in the Premier League, and his contract is set to expire, making him available to sign a pre-contract agreement in January.
Back in 2009 Kalou said of playing for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: “Because he is a very great coach and I know that every single player in the world dreams of playing for Arsene Wenger. I have a lot of respect for him, he is one of the best coaches in the world so why not?”
Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish is also thought to be a keen admirer of the Ivory Coast international.
