Bale delighted with recent Tottenham form

Beating bitter rivals Arsenal 2-1 at White Hart Lane in last Sunday’s North London derby, gives Spurs their fourth consecutive Premier League victory and with it momentum which they can look forward to building upon after the current international break, Gareth Bale has told the club’s official website.

Success over the Gunners, arriving in the wake of other recent victories over Wolves, Liverpool and Wigan has seen a resurgent Spurs recover from humbling defeats to the Manchester sides and recapture a ‘feel-good factor’, that Bale is hopeful of sustaining when the squad reassembles towards the end of next week.

“We’ve been on a good run of late, we’ve been playing well. It’s massively important to have that momentum and to go away on an international break on a high. Now it’s important we get everyone back from the internationals fully fit and get our heads back on it,” declared Bale, who ultimately hopes that Spurs will be able to stretch their winning run in the Premier League to five, when they return to domestic action away to Newcastle, a week on Sunday.
