Chelsea maintained their place at the top of Champions League Group E as they easily brushed aside an out-of-sorts Genk side.
Goals from Raul Meireles, Branislav Ivanovic and a brace from the rejuvenated Fernando Torres helped put the game beyond the Belgian side by half-time before Salomon Kalou completed the scoring.
Andre Villas-Boas made six changes from Saturday’s 3-1 win over Everton including a new three-pronged attack spearheaded by Torres who still has one game remaining on his domestic suspension.
