Dalglish frustrated as Liverpool are held by Norwich

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish was left to rue missed chances as his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Norwich City on Saturday, according to Liverpoolfc.tv.

Craig Bellamy put the hosts in front just before the break, but a header from Grant Holt allowed Norwich to leave Anfield with a point, despite Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll going close for Liverpool in injury time.

“I think on the balance of play we deserved to take three points from it,” said Dalglish. “We played really well up to a point, created an awful lot of chances and there was some great passing and moving.

“But when you are only one goal in front it gives them a bit of encouragement. They were hanging on in there. If we don’t convert our chances we’re always going to give the opposition a chance. They took it.”
