Andre Villas-Boas was in no hurry to tie down star striker Didier Drogba, when talks of the Ivorian not signing a contract extension at Stamford Bridge emerged. And according to Goal.com,
Bayern Munich are apparently poised to make a bid for the 33-year-old in the upcoming transfer window, considering Chelsea are yet to reach an agreement with Drogba.
The former Marseille man reportedly turned down summer moves to both Spurs and Galatasaray with the hope of holding down regular football. But if he fails to do that in the next few months an exit could be possible. Chelsea would also be open to a move as the Ivorian’s exit would reduce the wage bill at the club considerably.
