Fabianski wants first-team football

Lukasz Fabianski has spoken of his annoyance about being the second string goalkeeper at Arsenal and may look for a move, according to The Daily Mirror.

The Polish shot-stopper is losing his competition with compatriot Wojciech Szczesny to be number one for Arsenal and may look elsewhere to get first team football and enhance his chances of being in goal for his country when they host the 2012 European Championships.

Fabianski said: ‘It is really difficult. Of course not playing doesn’t make me happy. I want to play, that’s my goal. If there is an opportunity, I want to play as well as I can and help the team. We will see what happens. There is still time until January, almost two months.’

The 26 year old lost his first team spot at Arsenal due to injury and has been unable to regain the spot from his younger Polish teammate.
