Samuel Inkoom, the Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk and Ghana full back has claimed he is on the brink of a switch to Liverpool according to the Metro.
Having also attracted interest from Chelsea, Inkoom talked to Ghanaian radio station Top Radio about his agent’s movement and how he believes the deal is close to being completed.
“My agent is still locked in talks with my club and a scout of Liverpool and very soon a deal could be concluded.
“Liverpool is one of the biggest names in football and so if everything goes well and the Lord allows it, everyone will see where I am going and hopefully, it will be Liverpool, which will be a big step up for me.”
Inkoom has been impressive for the Ukrainian outfit since his £4.6m move from Basle in January. Dalglish is said to be looking for cover for Glen Johnson who has long term injury problems.
