Gervinho: Arsenal now finding confidence

Ivorian forward Gervinho believes that Arsenal are finally finding their rhythm and beginning to gel as a squad, The Guardian reports.

The Arsenal forward signed in the summer for £10.6m from French club Lille and has impressed so far with his dynamic attacking play and constant goal threat. Gervinho believes that he has fully gelled with his new teammates and the team morale is fantastic following their Champions League victory away at Marseille last week.

Gervinho said: ‘The team is starting to rediscover our self-belief, our confidence in the group. We need that. We have rediscovered our feeling for our game. The group is starting to gel and each of us are starting to understand our teammates and find each other on the pitch’.

The Ivory Coast international is expected to be rested for the Carling Cup tie against Bolton, but will be back for a tough test against Chelsea at the weekend.
