Getafe – Villarreal: Luis Garcia’s men looking for only their fourth ever league win over the Yellow Submarine

La Liga Week 8
Saturday October 15, 2011 (17.00 UK)

Coliseum Alfonso Perez, Madrid

Juan Carlos Garrido’s Villarreal travel to depleted Getafe on Saturday evening looking for only their second win of the season, but face injury problems of their own.

Villarreal come into the match on the back of consecutive draws in the League, but their biggest problems for the coming trip to Madrid are focussed in attack with the Yellow Submarine likely to call on B team attackers.

Marco Ruben, although training again, looks set to miss out, as do Hernan Perez, Nilmar and Giuseppe Rossi, with the highly-rated Joselu earning a temporary promotion from the club’s B team.

Getafe’s problems lie all over the pitch with Miguel Moya and Oscar Ustari both likely to miss out, whilst several others may not make it. Pedro Leon, currently on-loan from Real Madrid, is struggling with fitness following a clash with Cata Diaz in training, meanwhile Jaime Gavilan and Tsepo Masilela are also injured.

The hosts will also be without Mehdi Lacen who saw himself sent off last time out against Malaga, but two players who may be involved are Abdel Barrada and Miku, but that is still to be confirmed with both yet to return from international duty.

Getafe (4-2-3-1):Codina; Valera, Cata Diaz, Lopo, Mane; Ruben Perez, Rodriguez; Barrada, Sarabia, Diego Castro; Guiza

Villarreal (4-2-3-1): Diego Lopez; Mario, Zapata, Musacchio, Catala; Senna, Bruno; Borja Valero, Jonathan De Guzman, Cani; Joselu
