Liverpool defender Glen Johnson believes his injury problems are over after playing in Liverpool’s friendly defeat against Rangers on Tuesday, according to the Daily
Johnson suffered a hamstring injury in a pre-season game against Valencia, and then exacerbated the problem after a substitute appearance against Stoke on September 10.
The 27 year-old said: “It was just fantastic to be back playing again. Obviously, I’ve been a long time out and it’s been a hard few months for me. But, fingers crossed, I’m over all that now.
“The last two injuries were in the same spot and it’s been difficult to try to stay positive. It’s always disappointing when you are nearly fit and then it goes again. But, hopefully, that’s all behind me now.
“I want to push on from this and we all want to get three points against Norwich in our next game on Saturday.”
