Gomes reveals Tottenham loan exit near

The Mirror reports that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is keen to quit England and return home to Brazil.

Gomes joined Spurs three years ago from PSV Eindhoven for £7.8 million and was the clubs first choice goalkeeper until the start of this season.

The Brazilian recently has lost his place to Brad Friedel and has grown tired of his situation. “The club bought Brad as a second keeper behind me but the manager Harry Redknapp chose Friedel as his No1 goalkeeper” said Gomes.

The Brazilian international has been limited to occasional Europa League appearances and hopes to leave Tottenham in the January transfer window. “It is very likely that I will leave London this coming winter. I will go back to Brazil on a loan deal,” added Gomes.
