Granada – Atletico Madrid: Attacking Atletico hope to maintain their scoring prowess against a stuttering Granada side

La Liga Week 8
Saturday October 15, 2011 (21.00 UK)

Estadio Los Carmenes, Granada Andalusia

Interestingly and according to Marca, 10 of the 15 players who have played for Atletico Madrid so far this season have all arrived during the summer, including top scorer Falcao.

The Colombian, who forms part of the new offensive trio that is likely to start on Saturday, has been in terrific form and has played in seven out of 11 matches this season, accumulating 607 playing minutes.

Despite the limited training time Atletico have had due to international duties, they are confident they can pick up points against a stuttering Granada side that have yet to find their rhythm.

However, Granada’s players and especially Franco Jara who was left out in the match against Valencia, insist that the team is growing in confidence and adapting to tactics noting the importance of scoring quickly to maintain momentum.
