Jordan Henderson is in a confident mood following Liverpool’s progression to the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup. The Reds have not won any silverware since the FA Cup victory over West Ham in 2006, but the England Under 21 international believes that is all about to change.
Speaking in the Telegraph,
Since moving from Wearside for £16 million, Henderson has slotted straight into Dalglish plan’s and is already talking with a maturity past the 21-year olds age. “We’re not bothered who we get in the next round. We’ll just focus on playing West Brom in the league on Saturday and take whatever we get in the draw.”
