Hernandez signs new Man Utd contract

Javier Hernandez has followed Tom Cleverley this week, in agreeing a new contract with Manchester United, which ties the Mexican striker to the club for another five years and also takes him into the upper echelons of earners at Old Trafford, as reported by the Guardian.

Although United have yet to officially announce the new contract Hernandez will work under, the player’s agent, Eduardo Hernandez, revealed an agreement had been reached. “We have renegotiated Javier’s contract and he is now committed for five years with Manchester United.”

This new improved deal for Hernandez is ultimately reward for his impressive debut season for United last campaign, when he fired 20 goals to help the Red Devils to the Premier League title and Champions League final.
