Ipswich Town boss Paul Jewell is looking to imitate the positive feeling that surrounded close rivals Norwich last season.
Jewell stressed that he was not necessarily looking to follow in the footsteps of the Canaries, who are now plying their trade in the Premier League after successive promotions.
However, the former Wigan boss is looking to bring the same uplifting aura that became so infectious at Carrow Road last term.
“I went to a couple of their games last year and they had something going. They’d got the crowd on their side, a real noisy atmosphere, you could just sense the belief. I don’t want to go as far as saying we want to emulate them because I know I’d get lynched. We are similar clubs, though, and we want that feel-good factor they had last season.”
