Frank Lampard believes that Chelsea are now taking shape under manager Andre Villas-Boas, after a less than convincing start to the season under the former FC Porto manager. Lampard has spoken out following his hat-trick against Bolton Wanderers on Sunday, which will have gone some way to silencing the personal critics he’s had to endure recently.
The Blues got off to a nervy start. However the arrivals of Juan Mata and Raul Meireles have helped Chelsea kick start their season again.
