Liverpool face competition for in Brek Shea move

Liverpool face stiff competition from Chelsea and Manchester United for FC Dallas midfielder Brek Shea.

Shea, 21, can play both as a winger and as a second striker, and has 16 goals for his club and has six caps for the USA.

Shea was watched by a number of European scouts he starred in the USA’s 1-0 win over Honduras last week, and his agent, Barry MacLean, has not ruled out a move to England.

“I do know people are asking me about Brek as he is the premier talent in America,” he told Sky Sports.

“I think England would be an interesting option for Brek, but we will wait and see what happens.”
