In the aftermath of Liverpool’s victory over Stoke in the Carling Cup on Wednesday, manager Kenny Dalglish has described his Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez as a ‘Liverpool Legend’.
Suarez scored two goals in a 2-1 win at The Britannia, the first of which was lauded by fans and pundits alike after pushing the ball through Ryan Shotton’s legs, and curling a wonderfully precise effort into the far corner from the edge of the 18 yard box.
