Man City Sheikh tops football rich list

Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour has once again finished top of Four Four Two’s Football Rich List for 2011-12, the Guardian report.

With his wealth estimated at £20bn, Mansour has invested heavily in Man City turning them into Premier League contenders and Champions League competitors.

Arsenal shareholder Alisher Usmanov has overtaken QPR’s shareholder Lakshmi Mittal to move up to second, with the former on £12.4bn and the latter worth £11.8bn.

Chelsea’s Russian billionaire owner Roman Abramovich, who is now worth £10.3bn, sits in fourth place, while David Beckham tops the players’ list with an estimated wealth of £135m.
