Man City youngster Helan moves on loan to Carlisle

Carlisle have signed Manchester City youth player Jeremy Helan on a one month loan. Helan can play across defence or midfield and has represented France up to Under-19 level. Helan originally joined from French outfit Rennes and is one of a growing crop of youngsters with a great potential.

Helan has not made a first team appearance for his current employers, despite taking part in tours to USA and Poland with the squad.

Carlisle manager Gregg Abott is excited about the prospect of Helan playing for the club. “He has a good reputation, he is very versatile, strong and a good footballer. So he will add to the options we already have. He’ll join us for training ahead of the trip down to Yeovil and he’s one that we are really looking forward to working with.”
