Man Utd to ring changes for Aldershot clash

Manchester United are expected to ring the changes for Tuesday night’s Carling Cup tie against Aldershot Town, BBC Sport reports.

Defender Jonny Evans is suspended following his red card against Manchester City, a red card that ultimately resulted in such a heavy 6-1 loss. Brazilian full back Rafael Da Silva could return from the shoulder injury that has been keeping him out of action and youngsters Paul Pogba and Ravel Morrison could be included in the United side.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s men breezed past Leeds United to progress into the fourth round and are unbeaten on their travels in all competition this year. United face an Aldershot side who snapped a five game losing streak at the weekend and are currently in 15th place in League Two.

United’s last match against a side in the fourth tier of English football was a 2005 Carling Cup tie against Barnet, which they comfortably won 4-1.
