Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has revealed he is open to talks over a new contract, according to Sky
Mancini has enjoyed steady progress in his time at City, guiding the club to their first Champions League qualification last season, in addition to winning the FA Cup.
The Italian is under contract until the end of next season, but believes the club’s owners are happy with the progress the team is making under his tutelage.
“I have this year and another year on my contract,” said Mancini. “I don’t want to leave. I have a good relationship with the owner and the chairman of the club, and I think it is important that both sides here are happy.
“We have improved a lot in the last 18 months. The squad has improved. The club is the same, but it’s important we are not stopping here.”
