Marek Hamsik’s agent hints at Man City move

Manchester City’s pursuit of Slovakian international Marek Hamsik was given a boost by his agent, as he suggested that a transfer might be sorted in the summer. City are not the only potential suitors for Hamsik, but they appear to be the closest to making a move for him.

Hamsik plays for Napoli, City’s Champions League group rivals, and is one of the greatest prospects currently in Serie A. Napoli’s first team coach has revealed that Roberto Mancini is ready to make a move for Hamsik, whether that would be for January or the summer.

His agent Mino Raiola however seems sure that any transfer will only take place after the season has finished.

Raiola was quoted as saying: “Anything can happen in football – but these deals are only going to be activated at the end of the season.”
