Parker looking forward to QPR clash

Spurs midfielder Scott Parker has called for his side to be ready for the confident QPR side that will travel to White Hart Lane on Sunday, reports.

Parker joined Spurs from West Ham United in the summer and is currently in the greatest form of his career, matching impressive club performances with England call-ups. QPR make their first trip to Spurs in the league since December 1995 and Parker believes that they will lift their game against Spurs, especially since their 1-0 win over Chelsea last weekend.

The midfielder said: ‘It’s another London derby and they (QPR) are coming out of a great result against Chelsea, so it will be tough. A lot of teams come to White Hart Lane and get that extra lift, they are up against a good team and they want to do well.

‘QPR have just come back into the Premier League and won’t be any different. They will do everything they can to try to win or get a point. We’re fully aware of that, but if we do what we can do, and play the way we can, I’m confident we can win the game’, Parker added.
