Pavyluchenko linked with shock Arsenal move

Tottenham striker Roman Pavyluchenko has become a shock transfer target for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, according to reports in the Metro.

The Russian forward’s future at White Hart Lane has been under constant speculation and Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has only given the 29 year old two appearances in the league this season. With Euro 2012 next summer, Pavyluchenko is aiming to gain regular first team football to heighten his chances of starting for Russia at the tournament.

Pavyluchenko has stated that he loves life in London and that has alerted the attention of Wenger, who is keen to link the Russian with his compatriot Andrey Arshavin. The Spurs striker sees the Emirates Stadium as a preferred destination, as opposed to rumoured interest from fellow London clubs QPR and Fulham.
