Tottenham could welcome back Steven Pienaar and William Gallas from injury this weekend and both could be part of the squad to face QPR, london24.com
The pair have been back in training this week and their availability for the weekend depends on their response to the physical demands of full first team training. Gallas has been suffering with calf injuries which have kept him out of action and Pienaar has now recovered from groin surgery.
Spurs assistant manager Clive Allen said: ‘Steven Pienaar and William Gallas are back in training, which is good, so we’ll hopefully have one or two more to select from on Sunday. I don’t know if William will play, but he could well be involved, he may make the bench. It just depends on the reaction to his training this week’.
QPR travel to White Hart Lane off the back of a gritty 1-0 victory over rivals Chelsea last weekend and Spurs are looking to kick on from their 2-1 victory away at Blackburn.
