Despite conceding 5 goals at home to Arsenal, including a fatal slip which allowed Robin Van Persie to deliver what was the crucial goal to make it 4-3 to the Gunners, Andre Villas-Boas believes the recent racism allegations did not affect John Terry in yesterday’s game.
Terry’s name has been across the media all week following last week’s spat with Anton Ferdinand but his manager, speaking in the Telegraph,
Villas Boas said that there is nothing Terry can do as it is out of his hands. ”It’s an FA investigation, so let them investigate. This is just defeat for a team, a very important defeat and nothing else.”
