Tevez may still have future at Man City

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini yesterday admitted that he does not know whether Carlos Tevez will play for Manchester City again. Tevez returned to training this week after his suspension, but was made to train on his own as internal disciplinary proceedings are still on going at the club.

At a scheduled press conference yesterday ahead of Manchester City’s match with Aston Villa, it was made clear to the attending journalists that questions regarding Tevez were out of bounds. Despite this Mancini was asked if Tevez still has a future at the club to which the Italian replied, ‘I don’t know’.

It is a turn around from Mancini’s original statement that the Argentine was ‘finished’ at Manchester City after the team’s Champions League match in Munich. Opinions on Tevez’s future are split, but is likely the dispute will not be sorted out until December time.
