Tottenham eye Pav swap deal for CSKA striker

Tottenham may be set to launch a player plus cash move for CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia, according to a report in the People.

The 23-year-old has been prolific in front of goal for the past three years, betting 16 times this season in the Russian Premier League, from 25 appearances, and as such has attracted much interest from some of Europe’s top clubs.

With the news recently that Spurs’ Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko is looking for first team football, it seems likely that any deal Tottenham would put forward would include the former Spartak Moscow man, along with upto £20m.
