Tottenham are reportedly keeping tracks on Werder Bremen playmaker Marko Marin, according to The
Spurs boss, Harry Redknapp, had earmarked the German international in the summer as a potential replacement for Luka Modric, but he is said to have re-ignited his interest in the 22-year-old.
Marin, who can play across the midfield and as a winger, started his career at Borussia Monchengladbach before making an £8 million switch to Werder Bremen in July 2009. He’s also been capped 16 times by his country, including two appearances in the World Cup finals in South Africa in 2010.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all watched the German in action for Bremen this season, and could potentially rival Tottenham for his signature come the January transfer window.
