Tottenham have been linked with Bulgarian goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov as a potential replacement for Heurelho Gomes, according to the Daily
Gomes has stated his desire to leave White Hart Lane after losing his place to Brad Friedel, and the FC Twente ‘keeper has a growing reputation Europe and has been watched by a number of clubs.
Elsewhere, Tottenham are looking to cash in on Mexican misfit Giovani Dos Santos after a disappointing spell in North London. Dos Santos, whose contract ends at the end of next season, has been the subject of interest of a few clubs, including Sevilla, who have had a bid rejected for the striker.
Sevilla president, Jose Maria Del Nido, told Giralda TV: “At this moment, the club does not have the money asked for by Tottenham. The decision is clear. Giovani is not valued at €11m, as is demanded by the English. I view the deal as impossible.”
