Valencia set to rekindle interest in Manchester United’s Dimitar Berbatov

Football website Footybunker reports that Valencia are set to rekindle their interest in Dimitar Berbatov after reports in Spain during the summer had suggested they were willing to pay up to €15m for the Bulgarian.

The 30-year-old was the Premier League’s joint-top scorer last season with 20 goals, including a hat-trick against Liverpool and five against Blackburn, but has since fell out of favour with manager Sir Alex Ferguson, culminating in him being left out of the squad for the Champions League final defeat by Barcelona at Wembley in May.
