Wenger wants end to discontent among Arsenal fans

Arsene Wenger has urged the fans to get behind the team as he aims to make Arsenal the Premier League’s ‘positive surprise’.

According to The Guardian, Wenger, speaking at the club’s Annual General Meeting, admitted that he could sense the unrest among the Emirates faithful.

“I can see a lot of fear and discontent among you, and I can understand that because we live in a world where we fight with people who have extremely high resources,” explained the Gunner’s boss.

“To stay at the top, top level, we have to be united. That doesn’t mean I am not to be criticised and the board is not to be criticised, but to the outside, we have to show we are united, if you are not united, you have no chance.”
