Ancelotti suggests Milan make move for Chelsea stars

Carlo Ancelotti believes his old club AC Milan should look to either Didier Drogba or Nicolas Anelka as the pair approach the end of their contracts at Stamford Bridge.

The Italian champions will likely have to make do without the mercurial Antonio Cassano for the rest of the season following the striker’s recent heart surgery. Cassano suffered cerebral trauma following his side’s 3-2 win against Roma and his absence is a huge blow for the Rossoneri.

The former Chelsea boss Ancelotti told Mirror Football that forwards Drogba and Anelka would be ideal replacements: “Certainly – they are great players in good physical condition. They are players of great quality and attitude. I would see both of them fitting in very well at Milan – but that doesn’t that one of the two are going to go.”

Ancelotti has also rejected rumours linking the Italian with Paris Saint Germain, insisting he would like to remain in England.
