Andre Santos pleased with adaption to English game

Andre Santos has revealed that he is adapting to life in England and the demands of English football with Arsenal, arsenalfc.com reports.

The Brazilian full-back has featured regularly since making his switch from Fenerbahce in the summer and in his seven appearances, Santos has managed to score twice. The 28 year old is delighted with his start as a Gunner and is looking forward to improving and becoming a mainstay in the Arsenal defence.

Santos said: ‘English football is very different. But I’m adapting well, I’m getting used to playing more at the back and reading the game better. But I will still go forward if I have the opportunity. I think all our new signings integrated really well into the team, the squad is of high quality and I hope to make a difference to Arsenal’s campaign’.

Since the signing of Santos, along with the other summer transfer deals, the Gunners side has improved dramatically and have only lost once in their last ten games.
