The Norway international, of Moroccan descent, has scored nine times for the German club so far this season and has alerted the attention of English scouts. Arsenal are leading the chase for the 26 year old forward.
Abdellaoue featured in Norway’s 4-1 loss to Wales in Cardiff and following that fixture, the forward spoke about where he sees his future.
‘I have two years left on my contract. Perhaps I will get a new contract, I don’t know. I play football and my agent takes care of that. If something else happens, I will go through my agent. I look at how the Premier League is and you never know before you try it, but I have confidence in myself and big belief so if something happens, you never know’, Abdellaoue said.
