Arsenal on alert after M’Vila comments

Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila has stated his intentions to leave the French side this summer, alerting Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger in the process.

According to The Daily Mail, the Gunners boss failed with a bid for M’Vila in the last transfer window and has been interested in signing him for a while. M’Vila’s declaration of intention over a move away could force Wenger to make a move once again, but after the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine next July.

The French international is convinced that he is ready to leave at this moment, but will wait until after the tournament before making a move. The Gunners face competition from Liverpool and Chelsea for the 21 year old’s services.

M’Vila said: ‘I feel ready to leave now. I just don’t think it’s a good idea with Euro 2012 coming up’.
