Arsenal ready to sell Squillaci and Chamakh

Arsenal are willing to listen to offers from all clubs for Sebastian Squillaci and Marouane Chamakh, The Daily Mail reports.

The signing of Per Mertesacker this summer has dropped Squillaci further down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium and the Frenchman is primed to be sold by Wenger, as he looks to clear some of the deadwood from his squad. Squillaci will be joined by misfiring Moroccan striker Chamakh, who has failed to capture the form that he showed towards the beginning of last season.

The 27 year old signed for the Gunners last summer from French club Bordeaux, but has not proven his full potential. Squillaci and Chamakh could also be joined by Manuel Almunia and Andrey Arshavin out of the exit door at the Emirates Stadium. The 34 year old Gunners keeper is available for around £300,000 and Arshavin is a target for Schalke.
