Barnsley font man, Craig Davies, spoke out about his joy of finding his goalscoring touch again after his move from Chesterfield in the summer.
Davies, 25, lit up League Two last season with 25 goals, and moved to Oakwell on a free transfer.
However the striker failed to find the net in his first eight games for his new club, and questions were being asked, however he has silenced his critics with five in his last five.
Speaking to the club’s website, Davies said: “To be honest it was nice when the ball went in against Doncaster. The second one I was more happy about because it put us 2-0 up.
“It was my first double in the Championship and my first double for Barnsley. The fact that it was against our local rivals made it even sweeter.
“Against Leeds on Saturday – Elland Road’s a great place to play – there was a real buzz playing there. It was nice knowing local pride was on the line.
“To score the second goal, and for it to eventually be the winner, it was a good feeling.”
