Sunderland loan striker Nicklas Bendtner has hinted that once his loan move ends, he does not want to return to Arsenal, the Metro
Bendtner joined the Black Cats this summer after a torrid time at Arsenal and has revealed that he wants to move to a club who guarantees Champions League football. The Dane was tipped as one of Europe’s hot prospects before his move to Arsenal, but has failed to deliver the hype that surrounded him. Borussia Dortmund, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon are all interested in the 23 year old Dane, but they may not be able to match the salary that Bendtner receives at Arsenal.
The striker has always been outspoken and has continued to say his piece: ‘I want to play Champions League, let me put it that way. Of course I can do that with Sunderland, but that means we have to put our skates on’, Bendtner said.
