Another weekend, another respectable and spirited performance yet another poor result. This has been the story of struggling Blackburn Rovers’ season so far. The Lancashire outfit were beaten 1-0 at home by Champions League side Chelsea on Saturday afternoon, but Steve Kean’s men were extremely unfortunate not to gain at least a point against one of the best teams in the country. The result means that Rovers have failed to win in the top-flight for over six weeks now, and keeps the former Premier League champions stuck in the dreaded relegation zone.
