Ferdinand gives statement in Terry racism investigation

The Daily Mail reports that Anton Ferdinand has given evidence to the Metropolitan Police on Wednesday, supplying a statement regarding the alleged racist remarks made by Chelsea captain John Terry in the QPR vs. Chelsea fixture that occurred last month.

The QPR defenders’ statement is reported to be contradictory of John Terry’s, and having already spoken to his club, and to the FA, Ferdinand has now submitted his official report to the Metropolitan Police.

Chelsea left-back Ashley Cole is just one of a host of Chelsea players that are being spoken to by the police, as the row continues to dominate the headlines of the back pages.
