Free-falling Dagenham sign defender Exodus Geohaghon

Dagenham & Redbridge have completed the signing of Darlington defender Exodus Geohaghon on a three-month loan deal.

The 26-year-old will add much-needed experience to a Daggers’ defence that has failed to keep a clean sheet since the 20th August.

The towering centre back was playing in the Championship with Peterborough just two seasons ago but after falling out of favour with new management at London Road was loaned to three different League Two sides last season as the exit door loomed.

Geohaghon signed for Barnet in August but after making just two appearances for the Bees was re-united with manager Mark Cooper who he had served under at both Kettering and the Posh.

Daggers boss John Still told the club’s official website: “Exodus has played in the Championship so we know he can come in and do a job. He’s a player who isn’t old but brings experience.”

Still’s side currently sit in the relegation zone after a run of eight league games without a win and will be looking to Geohaghon to shore up the defence starting with a tricky trip to Accrington Stanley on Saturday.
