Italian trio lead race for Man Utd winger Nani

A trio of Italian clubs are pursuing Manchester United winger Nani following his impressive start to the season, The Mirror reports.

Inter, Juventus and Milan are all looking towards the Portuguese international. Inter are languishing towards the middle of the table and manager Claudio Ranieri is looking for new talent to fire his team back up towards the Champions League positions. Juventus have also been linked, and are also looking to Tottenham midfielder Gareth Bale to support the United winger in Turin. Milan are looking to ward off competition from their two rivals and the reigning Serie A champions are prepared to pay whatever is necessary to bring Nani to the San Siro.

Nani joined Manchester United in the summer of 2007 from Sporting Lisbon and has stepped into the shadow of Cristiano Ronaldo, establishing himself as a quality winger for Sir Alex Ferguson.
