LA Galaxy turn to Chelsea striker Drogba

With David Beckham seemingly about to leave Major League Soccer outfit LA Galaxy, the recent MLS Cup champions have now set their sights on capturing another big name signing in Didier Drogba. Galaxy are prepared to pay the Chelsea forward £5million a year according to the Daily Mirror.

However Drogba would ideally like to himself down to another two years at Chelsea, and even though talks are on-going it is unclear whether he will get the offer of a new contract that he wants, so the Ivorian will have to weigh up his options.

He remains part of Andre Villas-Boas’ plans for now, but LA Galaxy are in standby in case he is surplus to requirements come the end of the season. Drogba has also attracted interest from Italian Giants AC Milan and Russian outfit Anzhi.
