Manchester United have signed a five year old prodigy that they have been scouting since he was three, according to the Mirror.
Football-mad Charlie Jackson was spotted by Old Trafford scouts at the age of three, but the United chiefs had to wait until he was five before signing him. Jackson now trains with youngsters a year older than him and is being tipped as one for the future. Parents Andy and Claire are delighted with what has happened and despite being Manchester City fans, they are delighted for their son.
The youngster was spotted by United scouts whilst playing at a local football scheme. Andy said: ‘It’s an amazing opportunity. Everywhere we go people notice him because of his football talent. People just stand and watch him. They can’t believe he’s only five because he’s so good.’
