Mancini silent on Tevez to Milan talks

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini refused to comment on any questions involving the future of Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez, The Telegraph reports.

Italian giants AC Milan have been reportedly having discussions with Tevez’s adviser Kia Joorabchian and a move for Tevez could be sealed for the January transfer window. At his weekly press briefing before the big Sunday clash with Liverpool, Mancini refused to speak about where Tevez is or will be going and told reporters that any questions would not be answered.

Mancini said: ‘I do not want to speak about Carlos Tevez. I will answer no questions about him’.

Tevez has been a troublesome character for City over the last few months and the league leaders are hoping they can remove him from the squad quickly. Tevez has not reported back for training with City like he was summoned and Milan officials are looking for a permanent transfer to take the striker to the San Siro. If City received an appropriate offer, they would be willing to let Tevez leave permanently and are slightly against a loan move.
