Milan eye move for Chelsea striker

The Metro reports that Italian giants AC Milan are planning a January swoop for Chelsea’s Ivorian centre forward Didier Drogba. His contract runs out at the end of the year giving Milan some negotiating power with Chelsea in terms of the fee.

The 33 year old has said that he is in on-going talks with Chelsea over a new contract, but it appears Chelsea do not want to give him two years at Stamford Bridge, which is what Drogba wants.

German outfit Bayern Munich are reportedly also interested in signing the former Premier League golden boot winner, but are keener to sign him on a free in the summer. With this being the case, if Chelsea cannot negotiate a contract with Drogba then they may want to cash in on him in January whilst they can still get a transfer fee.
