Redknapp not planning January signings

Harry Redknapp insists that Tottenham are not looking to make any signings in January.

Spurs have suffered a number of injury problems this season, mainly in the defence, and have been linked with moves for Rio Ferdinand and Gary Cahill when the window re-opens.

With William Gallas and Ledley King now back fit, and Redknapp hoping for good news on Michael Dawson’s Achilles injury, the Spurs boss, speaking to talkSPORT, says he is unlikely to make any more signings:

I’m hoping that Michael Dawson comes back. He’s got his Achilles injury. Hopefully we will get a decision on him this week. He’s going for another scan on that.

William Gallas is coming back now as well. He did a fantastic job for us last season and, if I get them lads fit, we are okay, it’s not a problem. Other than that, I wouldn’t know where to bring anyone else in. We are pretty strong all over the pitch.
