Harry Redknapp looks set to return to the touchline for Tottenham’s next game against Aston Villa after doctors gave him the all clear, reports the Daily
The 64-year-old manager underwent a minor heart operation for blocked arteries two weeks ago, and had initially been warned not to return for four or five weeks. However, after missing the 3-1 victory at Fulham, Redknapp is now ahead of schedule in his recovery, and is likely to return for Monday night’s fixture, three weeks earlier than expected.
Redknapp has also been in the news this week with HMRC confirming he will face trial in January, alongside former Portsmouth Chairman Milan Mandaric, on tax evasion charges.
